Zeljko Obradovic has shared his expectations and impressions ahead of the EuroLeague showdown in which Partizan will host Panathinaikos.
This duel in the elite competition will be somewhat special for a few key figures, among them the main protagonist, undoubtedly the coach of the black and whites. He won an impressive five EuroLeague trophies with the lineup of the Athens ‘Greens.’
Of course, there’s also Mathias Lessort, the most intriguing individual due to everything he experienced in the black and white jersey and now arriving as a ‘guest’ for the first time since his departure.
“Panathinaikos is always a special game for me when we play against them. The reasons are well-known. It’s a team with the highest possible ambitions. They have built such a roster, and everyone in the club, starting from the coach, talks about their ambitions to at least reach the Final Four.
So, we are aware of who we are playing against. They are a quality team, had some minor issues at the beginning of the season. Now, they are playing very well, smartly, and controlling the game. We will have to play a very good game if we want to achieve a positive result,” said Zeljko Obradovic.
