“Congratulations to the Split, they played incomparably better than us and deserved to win the game. As for us, probably the first thing we need to do is to apologize to all these people who came to the arena and witnessed an incredibly poor performance from this team. When the team looks like this, the coach needs to question and take responsibility. I will take that responsibility.
We knew that there is a series of games ahead and behind us, and I wanted to give a rest to two players, Kevin Punter and P.J. Dozier, which is why I removed them from the team. Uros Trifunovic is still in the process of determining the reasons for his illness on the road. Once again, apologies to all the fans of Partizan who had to witness such a poor performance from the team. Big disgrace,” said Zeljko Obradovic.
