According to information from “Arena Sport” journalist Vid Horvat, Zvezdan Mitrovic is set to take over Cedevita Olimpija.
The Croatian journalist cited his sources, revealing that the Montenegrin coach will lead the Slovenian powerhouse, succeeding Zoran Martic.
He began his career at Pikadili and spent many years with Ukrainian clubs. In 2015, he took over Monaco, later coaching ASVEL. He returned to Monaco, where he won the EuroCup and led the team to the EuroLeague. After a two-year break, he took charge of Galatasaray but was dismissed earlier this year.
It’s worth noting that Zvezdan Mitrovic was the head coach of the Montenegro national team from 2017 to 2019.
