Mike James's first club in Europe was KK Zagreb, but he stayed there for only 6 games.

A year earlier, KK Zagreb played in the EuroLeague with Krunoslav Simon, Mario Hezonja, Dario Saric, and Mario Kasun. 😲

Danko Cvjeticanin believes that all the new trends in basketball are dictated by the NBA.
“I think the NBA is heading in a wrong direction where the essence of basketball is lost in terms of fundamental skills and a complete player repertoire. So, centers are disappearing, and versatile tall players who can do many different things are sought after. But that’s the trend, it’s hard to change something in the NBA that sets the rules of the game and as I said, it’s hard to change anything there.
One of the huge problems is that children base their success on highlights and maybe on one or two moves they made in a game and they will live off those few moments, instead of having a broader insight into their game and skills. They will talk about being the best because of one dunk or one three-point shot from eight meters. That’s an unrealistic image created because of those highlights and clips. That’s the so-called shortcut that doesn’t lead to real success, but it’s present.
So, a huge problem is the approach to social media and all possible media such as videos, Twitter, Facebook… The whole picture of young people’s lives has changed. NBA is a leader in that. There is completely unrealistic and illogical records setted because the defenses are much weaker and there is more emphasis on offense than defense, and attackers are more protected. Personally, I can’t predict where it will end up, but the average American will tell you that it brings profit and that’s enough reason to go that way.”
Without hard work there is no success
Beautiful game
To wrap up, Mr. Cvjeticanin and Mr. Tesla sent a message to the children attending the camp and aspiring to pursue basketball:
“Let them simply enjoy the game because it truly is a beautiful game. It’s very dynamic and it will not only help them fulfill their sports ambitions, but it will also truly help them in life. This game really develops great cognitive abilities” they conclude for the Basketball Sphere.
