Lorenzo Brown spoke after Maccabi’s victory over Partizan for “Mozzart Sport” and had particular praise for one player.
Maccabi defeated Partizan at home with a score of 96:81. The most responsible for the victory was the American with a Spanish passport who shone, especially in the first half. He highlighted several factors that tilted the game in favor of the “Pride of Israel.”
“We’ve been working on all of this during the summer. More ball movement, passing, and cutting to hit open shots. That’s our task, to make open and tough shots, of course. We need to maintain this rhythm throughout the year,” Brown began.
Then he commented on the atmosphere. The experienced EuroLeague player mentioned that this is one of the best atmospheres in the EuroLeague, and others speak highly of it.
“I think others know how much everything can shake here because of the atmosphere. I talked to a few guys from other teams after games in Tel Aviv, and they were thrilled with the atmosphere here, which showed again tonight. We have one of the best fan bases in the EuroLeague, definitely,” emphasized the “Pride of Israel” point guard.
Finally, he spoke specifically about one player from Partizan. Aleksa Avramovic scored 24 points last night and was the only bright spot in the tough loss for the black and white team.
“He’s a fantastic player. I know he’s very committed to defense, but he can do so much on offense as well. He’s a player that many teams need to watch out for this year,” Lorenzo Brown concluded.
