Point guard of Paris, T.J. Shorts, has been selected as the Most Valuable Player of the EuroCup for the ongoing season.
Shorts joined the French club after impressive performances in Bonn, where he won the FIBA Champions League. He was also the MVP of that competition, setting the stage for his success in the EuroCup.
As a representative of North Macedonia, Shorts is a crucial part of Tuomas Iisalo’s team, which has only suffered one defeat throughout the EuroCup season. They will aim to secure the trophy and a spot in the EuroLeague against Bourg.
The outstanding point guard averages 18 points, 3.3 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and two steals per game.
It’s no surprise that he was part of the ideal five, and then chosen as the Most Valuable Player, following Tuomas Iisalo’s prestigious Coach of the Season award.
The first leg of the EuroCup finals between Paris and Bourg is scheduled for tonight at 8:30 PM.
