Tyrese Haliburton, a player for the Indiana Pacers, spoke at the post-game press conference after their win against the Milwaukee Bucks by 121:118.
The Indiana Pacers are currently making great use of the fact that the Bucks cannot rely on Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek basketball star is sidelined due to injuries, and the Pacers are currently leading 2-1 in the series. The latest victory came thanks to Tyrese Haliburton, who with his three-pointer with 1.6 seconds left, secured the lead and ultimately the triumph. As he emphasized after the game, everyone knew he would take that shot.
“You know I was going to shoot it, no matter what. What I was going to get was really based off of feel. Khris Middleton pushed Pascal Siakam up to tell Patrick Beverley to go under and as soon as I saw Patrick kind of turn his head, I reacted and everything opened up across the middle and I finally made a shot.
I couldn’t buy a bucket tonight. It was a really fun game and overtime, what more could you ask for? It was a really fun atmosphere“, Haliburton said.
The next game is scheduled for Sunday night/Monday morning at 1:00.
