Lorenzo Brown, a player of Maccabi Tel Aviv, commented on the tensions that arose in the first two games of the series against Panathinaikos in the EuroLeague.
“The pride of Israel” managed to do what they set out to do when they went to Athens. They made a break, and with a little more concentration in the last quarter of the second game, maybe they could have returned to Belgrade with a 2-0 lead.
However, after Panathinaikos’s win in the second game, there was a scuffle between the coaching staff of the Israeli team and some players from the Athenian “greens.”
“I don’t know what to say. I don’t play and I don’t participate in these kinds of games that happen through the media and social networks. I don’t know how to explain their behavior. It was cowardly,” Lorenzo Brown commented briefly.
The third game of this series will be played on April 30th in Belgrade, starting at 7:00 PM
