The day before the start of the finals series, the EuroCup’s Best Five was selected, featuring several surprises.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the finals of this season’s EuroCup, featuring a showdown between two French clubs. Bourg and Paris will clash, and the winner will be determined by the team that secures two wins first.
The tournament’s starting five is led by Paris’s point guard, T.J. Shorts, who has had a brilliant season, averaging 18 points, 7.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds. Alongside him is Isiaha Mike from Bourg, contributing 12.4 points and 4.2 rebounds.
Also making the top five are Matt Morgan and Gabriel Olaseni from the London Lions. Morgan is London’s top scorer with 16.5 points and 3.9 assists, while the British representative averages 15.5 points and 7.4 rebounds.
Somewhat surprisingly, the starting five is rounded out by Ulm’s center, Trevion Williams, who had a fantastic season despite his team being eliminated in the round of 16. Williams averages 14.8 points and has added 10.8 rebounds to his impressive stats.
