Dino Radoncic, the Montenegrin player, is officially the new player for Bayern Munich. This news was officially confirmed by the Bavarians.
The Montenegrin player had a very successful FIBA World Cup, and that didn’t go unnoticed. He has signed a so-called “one plus one” contract with the German team and will once again collaborate with Pablo Laso after nearly five years.
Radoncic will be playing in the EuroLeague after almost five years. With Real Madrid, he made only eight appearances in the highest-quality European basketball competition, but he was part of the team that won the EuroLeague in 2018. Additionally, he played 30 times in the ACB league with “Los Blancos.”
Last season, Dino Radoncic played for the Zaragoza team in the Spanish league. On average, he recorded 4.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game with the Aragon based club.
At the FIBA World Cup, with the Montenegro national team, he had an average of seven points and slightly over five rebounds in five appearances. Montenegro was eliminated in the second group stage with losses to the United States and Lithuania.
Several players have already arrived in Munich. The American duo from Fenerbahce, Carsen Edwards and Devin Booker, joined Bayern this summer. They were also reinforced by Sylvain Francisco, a French international. Leandro Bolmaro and Danko Brankovic have also bolstered Bayern.
They will face Alba in the first round of the new EuroLeague season in a German derby.
