Wade Baldwin, in an interview with Israel Hayom, revealed that he will play in the second game of the EuroLeague playoffs against Panathinaikos.
Recalling that Maccabi Tel Aviv won the first playoff game against Panathinaikos played at the OAKA arena, Wade Baldwin couldn’t finish the game on the court due to injury. In 26 minutes, the American scored 15 points.
“I feel good, and I’ll be playing on Thursday. The injury won’t stop me at this stage. We found a way to win the first game, which was played on an extremely tough court. All the players performed well, which is why we achieved victory in Athens,” said Wade Baldwin, adding:
“We are in excellent form as a team in recent months, it was really important to win at the OAKA arena. Now we need to secure two more wins. Remember, we had a similar situation last year in Monaco and we lost the series. The job in the first game is done, but now we have to focus on the second.”
Panathinaikos and Maccabi Tel Aviv will play the second playoff game on Thursday at 8:15 PM (OAKA arena, Athens).
