It seems Kendrick Perkins, one of Nikola Jokic’s harshest critics, has changed his tune and praised the Serbian player.
Jokic played well against the Lakers once again. He scored 32 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and secured the win. The former NBA player sharply criticized the Denver Nuggets center last year, saying that Joel Embiid is the MVP, but now, as an ESPN analyst, Perkins has changed his tone.
“The Nuggets have the best starting lineup and the best player in the world. The Lakers looked scrambled. Jokic scored 32 points in different ways. He’s in form, ready for more minutes mentally and physically. They have no answer for Jokic. Anthony Davis played great and went unnoticed because of Jokic,” said Kendrick Perkins.
